Women are still very rare in our profession, as reflected in the results shown in Table 1.5. The proportion of women is even lower than what we reported in 2007 (14.3%).
Given the shortage of human capital in our industry, it would be worthwhile to make an effort to get more women to enter (and stay in) our profession. This is certainly an area of opportunity.

This figure represents a very small increase compared to the figure obtained in 2008 ($22,570 pesos), which makes us think that salaries in our industry have remained fixed in the last couple of years. In a way, this was to be expected given the economic stagnation we have experienced in this period.
Additional remuneration
