There is much to suggest that we must prepare ourselves for constant, unpredictable change as the new normal. In my opinion, the adherence to familiar procedures and processes that was so common in the past is becoming a danger. In contrast, the ability to question oneself and systematically learn from change is becoming the decisive factor for success. This shows how important the skills of companies, teams and people are to deal successfully with change. We must learn to accept new conditions and develop the necessary change skills as individuals, groups or companies. This includes openness to new things and agility, but above all the willingness to constantly learn. Ultimately, dealing successfully with change will become both a fundamental organizational skill and an indispensable element of a modern corporate culture.
“The majority of companies now
Have experience of operating in crisis mode. […] but I am not sure whether many small companies have the strength for the constant learning and adaptation processes in the long term. ”
What particular challenges do you see facing (smaller) companies stockholder data and organizations due to the current situation?
The current situation and the foreseeable developments in the future continue to bring complex requirements for all those affected – companies and employees alike. The majority of companies now have experience of operating in crisis mode; they just need to institutionalize this, i.e. convert it into concrete practices so that they can also be used later and by other employees. The exchange of experience across company boundaries is certainly worthwhile.
That actually sounds quite positive
Or are there, in your view, still arguments why these challenges are “mission critical” for many of these (smaller) companies and thus potentially threaten their existence?
In fact, I am not sure whether many small companies have the mobile lead strength to deal with the constant learning and adaptation processes in the long term. In addition, many employees are feeling uncertain and anxious. It is clear that people here also expect support from their companies. It is always important to prove that understanding, solidarity and support are not just empty words.
“Modern and active
human resources management is becoming increasingly the best solution to this problem is essential for the success of a company. The future performance of companies is largely determined by retention, recruiting and personnel development.”
