According to them, these hooks are the answer to this social media algorithm. And guess what? Hooks deliver significantly more engagement than non-hooks.

According to Waardenburg and Mazerant, the algorithm looks at the following five elements in particular to determine whether a message is interesting to you:

Your interests

The popularity of the message
The popularity of the user
The type of content
The current events
Are you getting the idea?
